Non TV Hatton undercard.

Matt Macklin contiunes his form with a first round win over Alexsey Chirkov.

Magic Matthew Hatton won a shut out points win over 10 rounds vs Segery Starkov.

Geard Ajetovic continued his unbeaten start as a pro with a points win.

Lee Swaby got back on track with a points win.

Stuart Brookes beat Howard Clarka Clarke on points.

Nick Smedley beat regular visitor Rakhim Mingaleev on points.

Over in Italy.

Gary Locket beat Victor Kpadenue on points (did ITV show this?).

No real surprises there. Only surprise was the Sky didn't showcase much of the undercard at all.

The macklin fight was shown "in full" on the US broadcast, they also showed highlights of Matthew Hatton.

The sky coverage was shocking having the thompson fight as main support was rubbish. Then filling out the time with mayweather vs mitchell was like a slap in the face. Why didnt they show the same as the american coverage?

I will really think long about the next ppv i buy off the shower of fookers.

There wasn't that much filling from Sky. I have a HDD and I could only just scrape the three bouts on 2 hour disc (no analysis/interviews). The show itself only last 2 hr 34 mins (excluding adverts). Personally I am glad we saw Mayweather, but I think the show could have been longer to incorporate the undercard action.

I think they should have shown at least highlights from the undercards instead of feeding us mayweather after all it is a british station! and the american audience got a better braodcast than we did.

For £15 we got a very old looking carl thompson vs a french guy who couldnt even bother to train properly by the look of his gut, hatton vs maussa and mayweather giving mitchell a boxing lesson!

We could have seen Macklin or even mattew hatton and it still wouldnt have been value for money in my opinion. I still bought the fight and a mate i had over watching it who isnt a boxing fan couldnt believe i paid for it.

Oh yes, it didn't represent value for money. I was expecting the ENTIRE bill shown AND Mayweather for the 16 quid.

Do you work for skysports? I never said i expected the entire bill but i feel we could have had better coverage of the undercard for the money paid, it was poor and im sorry if that upsets you but im not gonna change my opinion.

In your opinion does showing a fight from a week ago instead of of the undercard represent value? regardless of the fighter it could just as easily been shown on any sky sports channel.

Calm down i think he was agreeing with you. It was a crap show for £16 though i think, the main event and a 10 round support bout and then Mayweather form a week earlier. Scandalous.

I forgot that Ajetovic was fighting. He's impressed me when I've seen him, but I find it strange that his ko ratio is so poor considering how strong he looks at the weight. Time for a step up in class for him, I reckon.
