Sad news indeed, I used to really like Big Daddy Bowe.

Yeah, I noticed that to. I wish the guy well and he is a grown man and old enough to make his own choices in life but I have a horrible feeling this comeback will end in tears.

I understand what you mean, but Jerry Quarry was a grown man... Bowe is already damaged, fighting on will only increase his decline and he could well end up like Quarry or Greg Page... the man is a disaster waiting to happen. Shame on those who are allowing him to fight again, I'd like to have them shot if I could....

Maybe Holyfield could beat Rahman again this time actually making an alien pop out of his head then we can have Holy-Tyson 3 - Holy wins. Then Holy-Bowe 4 for the WBC - a belt neither had for that long when they were busy ducking Lewis. Then Bowe beats Holy and we get Bowe-Lennox the fight we've always wanted. You guys just don't see the possibilities

You can see the funny side perhaps but the fact is some of these guys will be having trouble walking in a straight line in ten years time, and might not be around at all...

Yeah, ...what really get to me is the greed of the people that allow fighters like Bowe to carry on and on till they basically can't climb in the ring anymore....

THis is why there should be one body internationaly so that people like Hollyfild and Bowe can be stoped fighting on grounds of there health insted of finding another country, state or in some cases native american reservation which is willing to let them suffer in order to make some quick $$. sad state boxing is in its all about the money and not about protecting great men who have given so much to the sport.

Not Foreman Per se.... try thanking the crop from the late 80's early 90's for being so inept - with the exception of four fighters.

The old man comeback though has happend for years, nearly centuries even. James J Jeffries, Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Ernie Shavers, Leon Spinks all made ill adviced comebacks.

That waster couldn't be bothered to get into shape in the 1980's when he was a young man, so why anyone would think that he can now, now that he is almost middle aged is baffling.

The fight didn't happen by the way.
