Before the main event Saturday when the MC introduced Clinton Woods at ringside he said "introducing Clinton Woods who wants a fight with Roy Jones Jnr next year", just wondering if this was shown on the box office show, if it was maybe Fight Academy are trying to tempt RJJ into a Clinton fight next year, as soon as i heard the MC i thought to me sen that with the fight being showed in America that they were trying to call RJJ out.

It would be nice to see RJJ in action live over in the UK, but i feel Woods should look at other options instead.

No it wasn't shown in the PPV - but Woods did give some suggestions that there is some negotiations.

Paul Dempsey mentioned that Mayweather's fight was the most impressive performance in Portland since Jones beat Woods.

Woods did quitely say.... "I'll get him next time".

Christ, Jones is done now, why bother fighting the shell of a once great fighter. His decline has been so sudden and so total, I wouldn't be surprised if Clinton sparked him.

Anyone fancy trying to explain what is going on in Johnson's head here.

He appears to be fighting Danny Santiago for the IBA title in February. Now fair enough if you dress up a keep busy fight to fill a few more seats, but I do wonder how much this could damage Johnson-Woods III. If this fight goes ahead, this would surely mean a III for the IBF wouldn't happen until April-ish, and since it's been quiet on Woods' front - ie. no sign of a voluntary defence from anywhere, it looks at the very least that he'll be innactive for a while yet. Or, worse, perhaps, at least from Johnson's point of view, Woods-Johnson III won't be happening.

last i heard, Glen's obsessed by getting Tarver again. But Tarver seems to have given up on meaningful fights, with all this talk of Tyson and making a new shite Rocky film. Glen should take Woods, imo Woods could be the toughest opponent for him right now.

Announcing the fight before it has been signed sounds somewhat allegedly-ish.
