Blooming excellent news this. The Harrison vs Williams bill will start at 8.55 till 10:10 on ITV 1, PLUS from 10:30 - 12:30 on ITV4.
Williams vs Harrison, Khan vs TBA on ITV1
Skelton vs McDermmott, Mitchell vs Fuente and Minter vs James on ITV 4.

Nice on ITV, this is more like it.

This is fantastic. What a terrestrial contract was made for. Glad to see they've gone with Williams-Harrison rather than Skelton-McDermott too.
Still no Khan opponent named? I hope TBA has had some sort of notice, and is not going to get about a weeks notice.

THat is wicked would be nice to get both HW fights on there but you can't have everything and this is a propper prime time sporting action which is a lot better than we got from the BBC.
On the Amir Kahn issue I think he should be scent over seas next chance Warren gets posibly to europe or better america because the expereance of being away from home and exposiour to another audiance would be good. I recon this opponent will be a Mr. T. Can in order to warm him up for a more challenging affair in Glasgow.

Yes although still being advertised.
Magee wouldn't be ready in time apparently, despite having ample notice.

Is Takaloo having another opponent for that one or are they just sacking it off.

That's a great night's telly for your fight fans. Exactly what the likes of ITV4 should be used for.

This confused me when I read it earlier, is the 10.30-12.30 ITV slot highlights or are the fights going to happen live after Khan & Williams on ITV1?

ITV4 was only on Men & Motors until it got its own dedicated channel. If you have cable you can definitely get ITV4, give Telewest a call.

Looks a great one to watch down the pub on a Sat night I reckon, and set the VCR for ITV4. Even the average punter likes a heavyweight showdown, even more so with the local rivals angle.
Needs a bit more hype. Not that I'm suggesting it, but a slapstick ( hold me back! ) brawl at a press conf will make the back pages no doubt. Both got too much class for that though, I think.
Plus Khan needs an new opponent - he's beaten TBA a couple of times already.

And I dare say he'll beat him a few more times yet.

You really think it would sell better than those dodgy images of Danny growling in the London Dungeon?

BTW this is excellent that ITV are doing this. I remember someone (think it might have been Stu) who suggested this before day one.

Nice to see them finally catch on and give it a try.

It isn't clear on the press release, I would prefer a 10.30 start. I don't think I could handle watching Skelton Vs McDermott whilst sober.

It definately gives the impression that Skelton vs McDermott will be on ITV4 at 10:30, but doesn't say if it will be live of just shown as an "exclusive".
Also, watched Nelson vs Cantatore today.... Well done ITV, the old music was back. A bit sad I know, but I did write an e-mail to them saying that I prefered their old music to the one they had for Harrison vs Hussein. Great to hear it back, maybe they listened.
All in all, I thought it was an excellent show, the best yet from ITV in terms of presentation - I know it was needed, but lovely to see a studio and interaction between presenter and guests.

Seeing as though it is confession time...I recorded the Pryce Vs Jennings fight on my computer hard drive and I was able to convert the theme tune music into a mp3 file, I now have it as a ringtone
