I have only seen their respective World title challenges, but I feel on the strength of Farr's showing against Joe Louis he would have the edge in this one.

I would like to see the Cockell vs Farr fight to judge, just to see how much behind a faded Farr was in that fight.

Judging by the records, I too would favour Farr - but only just, I think Tommy's natural weight advantage would be a telling factor.

even though cockell was a former light-H and he had the weight problem, he still had excellent stamina and was very strong 210lbs. the condition made him seem flabby and out of shape but he was actually very strong and in excellent fighting condition.

What was the condition he had again...?
