Saw MCdermott was 7-1 against Skelton at BEt 365:

Anyone think this is too high? I expect Skelton to win but would imagine the odds should be more 4-1.

May put some money on....

I don't see how McDermott wins this. Fine, he can punch a bit but Skelton can take a shot and will have infinitely better work-rate and stamina than McDermott, who's had one round in the last 12 months. I think money on McDermott is money thrown away, no matter how good the odds.

Johns supposed in good shape for this one and Skelton looked a bit iffy last time out. I've had a speculative COUPLE of quid on BIG John

Mcdermot is awful.... the weight thing is a joke... and he's going to be a lot less trouble than Krence was. THE BEAR wins in 5 .

John's not bad for a fat lad, I kinda like him. Still think Skelton will do it tho. My first post btw, happy to be here!!!

i remember mguigan on sky after a mcdermott performance slating mcdermott

"I was talking to mcdermott a while back and he told me he does 5 miles a day, I mean... don't insult my intelligence! He needs to get in the gym, work off the extra pounds and get in good shape if he wants to be something"

Big John is anything but bad,,,,,ass that is.
This is a big time mismatch but should be an entertaining rumble while it lasts. I'll be at the arena for it and expect McDermott to be carried past me after 5 rounds.
I mean surely Warren and Maloney could have found a better opponent than this guy for a supposed prospect. Alas.....

There is one hell of a lot of money going on Aubrey. He was a general 4/7 not long ago, then 8/15, and now you can't get him bigger than 4/9. (bet365 offer best odds on you dillusional's who want to back Williams at 2/1.)
