Whatever happended to Wamba??

What happened to former world cruiserweight champion Anaclet Wamba? He was WBC World Cruiserweight Champion from 1991-1994 making 7 defenses before retiring at 34 yrs old. He had a great record 46-2-1 (23) Did he just have enough of boxing or was there another reason?
