Saturday Night Undercard.

They should call the undercard fights on the Excel 'Shooting Fish in a Barrel.'
It is going to be the usual scenario of 'prospects' bashing up unknown French national champions. I'm going to keep a count of how many second hand blue Adidas trunks I see worn by the 'opponents'.
I hear that Amir Khan doesn't have an opponent yet. Well thats sounds encouraging. No doubt Warren has some warm body locked away some where for a special occassion.
With Akinwande, Naseem Hamed and Michael Sprott available it is obvious why Warren plumped for the aewsome Heavyweight talent John McDermott to face Skelton. 'Big' John reminds me of a bully from Grange Hill. The sort of strong silent type with his fists dragging along the ground when he walks. He was the guy in the toilet that stood behind the 'brains' with his arms folded whilst you paid your protection money or purchased cheap Panda Cola and a fake i.d.
I expect him to be carried past me before the half way mark.
By the way judging by their previous efforts the Skelton-McDermott fight could become a love fest. These two guys bring little skill or compsure to the table so expect plenty of bear hugging. Though eventually Skelton will break away long enough to whack McDermott over the dome and then John will hit the deck like he was hit with a bag of wet cement.
I read that Souly 'M'Baye is gonna be on the bill. By any chance does his opponent have an Eastern European sounding name? Thought so. This will be unusual though. He will be a French national champ fighting in a British ring who is expected to win.
Does Takaloo have an opponent yet? If not get Howard Clark on the phone. He probably isn't doing anything on Saturday night and if he is he will at least know Ojay Abrahams number.
