I was looking at the BOXREC stats and noticed that in his first 22 fights Joe has 21 KOs whilst Lacy has 17KOs out of the 22 fights so far. Can this this be used as a measure for comparison?
In his 23rd fight Joe took on Eubank who was highly tipped to win but Joe clearly outboxed Chris.In his other fights when Joe stepped up (Brewer,Woodhall etc) hes proved he's the best,I feel the stats are in favour of Joe.
Maybe Im wrong but I hope Im right.Do any of you fellas agree?

For me Calzaghe's the better fighter, but the million $ question is has Lacy got him at the right time? He aint getting any better...


In fact, it's the type of matchup Warren specialises in: getting a name fighter on the slide, but this time it's in reverse - which just about sums up his handling of Joe's career.

The Joe you are talking about and the Joe who Lacy will fight are different fighters imo

Calzaghe is about to be taken out of his comfort zone and I don't think he will be able to handle it.

I think Lacy`s team have been very fortunate to get the better names on his record at the right time.

Lacy is getting all the hype for beating Sheika,Vanderpool, Reid and Pemberton...good names but all of them picked at the best possible time.

A Calzaghe firing on 80% should get passed Lacy....but is joe firing that much these days

Calzaghe is going to have to show us , 33 is not too old to be the best.
Also there is doubts over his hand so he could be in the shit.
He needs to be very close to his best to win. Lacy will be at his best.

No doughting Joe is still Top in GB and Europe but is he the best in the world? That question can only be answered in a decisive win over Lacy - I dont think he can do it because he cant just let rip and forget the injured hand, therefore Joe wont be firing on all pistons - Joe will have it at the back of his mind and his full performance wont be seen against Lacy who is at his peak - Joe, I think has the skills and the stamina to beat Lacy even at 33 but he wont because throwing the big right may be too risky and he wont put the full power he has behind it - That hand needs a long time to heal properly and Joe needs another fight to give him the confidence that his hand wont let him down - A fight with Lacy after that could see Joe at his best if all went well - If his next fight is Lacy I wouldnt bet on Joe winning - Lacy fight around Sept/Oct with a title defence in June would IMO be the best for Joe.
