Harrison, 256, vs Julius Long, 280, was heavier.

Could be.... But what is it with Danny , He says he's training hard looks in good shape, gets on the scale and is 19 and a half stone! they must have a plan because that hs heavy for anyone who's 6ft 1

Is Danny 272 or 274 (the weight someone posted on ESB), whos in the running for the DVDS? Audley will pick Danny apart all night easy UD - I hope he stops him though.

Didn't realise a title was at stake?!?!? Have they got their facts wrong?

So Williams comes in heavy against Vitali and gets battered from pillar to post. Now he's even heavier for Harrison and he has never looked good when in this kind of shape.

I think that Williams simply can't shift the weight any more and will pay the price against Audley and get sent into retirement.

Audley started quite late and was only a novice when Danny was at his peak amateur wise.
Danny also fought at 91kg for before moving up to superheavy...

If they did fight then Danny would have won fairly handily at that time

But Danny's not planning on dancing around on his toes anyway, he's banking on planting his feet and landing some bombs on Audley's chin.

So his weight is pretty much the same as it was for Vitali - and he was certainly fit for that one ( if outclassed ) no way he'd walk through that amount of punishment if he was out of shape.

A fully-clothed Danny Williams scaled a career high 272 pounds today ahead of his Commonwealth heavyweight title fight against Audley Harrison at London's ExCel Centre tomorrow night.

Williams hit the scales nineteen stone six pounds, two more pounds than he weighed in for his unsucessful challenge for the WBC heavyweight crown against Vitali Klitschko.

By comparison, Harrison scaled a slimline 18 stone one pound or 253 pounds, well inside his previous highest.

In the chief support, British heavyweight champion Matt Skelton came in at 18 three ounds (255) and challenger John McDermott was 17'12.

Meanwhile Kevin Mitchell needed three attempts to make the super-featherweight limit ahead of his challenge for the IBF Intercontinental title.

Ross Minter weighed 10 stone six and a half pounds prior to his English welterweight title challenge, while Brett James was 1'6.

Amir Khan and Daniel Thorpe both hit nine stone 11 and a half pounds.

Danny does not look too big, and I dont know how you know Audley's power is overrated, but I have not seen anything to suggest he is a particularly big puncher, his jab could give Danny problems though.

Audley looks a lot older without the beard.

yes when Audley was an amateur and Danny was British Champ. Means fornicate all

I thought Williams looked totally imobile and had poor co-ordination against Klitschko, and that was before Vitali started punching him.

He looked like a fat bloke to me. And he's come even heavier!

I can see Harrison teeing off on him at will....

Harrison is better skill wise and has physicall atrebutes I think he would be better at around 17'5 like he was in the olympics but still a respectible weight. Williams is taking the piss if he thinks that is a better weight to come in at and has to me restricted himself to a punchers chance. any advantage he might have had over the distance in negated by this esspecially with Harrisons boddy shots
