fornicating ref couldn't wait to stop that for Mitchell. Aw well, Mitchell's time for being exposed will come soon enough...

No way was that a stoppage. It was a body shot that was causing the trouble not a head shot. Medjadic was protecting his body and not taking many head shots and was looking to see out the round and recover for the next one. Mitchell was disappointing, took far too many right hands and uppercuts, first puncher he faces will dismantle him.

Where can Audley go from here?

Didn't like what I saw with Mitchell. Excting sure, but looks like he likes a tear-up too much. Still, time's on his side.
Audley, fornicate me son, what happened with your jab and watch a video of Kirkland Laing-Antonio Ferdandez to see how to pick a punch....very disappointed with Audley. Williams did what he had to do (why didn't I back him at 7/2 then lay him off at 2/1 after round 1!) and used the right tactics just about, but he was disappointing too. I can't help but wonder if they both eliminated themselves from heavyweight contention tonight. Ironically I'd still pick either of them to beat John Ruiz, although I'm not convinced Ruiz will beat Valeuv (sp?) next week (Bubi, what do you reckon and is it on German TV?).
Kahn looked good I thought. Betfair closed their book at tea time. Wankers...missed a chance to get a bet on there.
And finally, I criticised Duke McKenzie last time ITV had live boxing, but I thought he was good tonight. The only thing I'd pick him up on is to say the Williams fight was intriguing rather than entertaining.

Forgot to say, scored it 115-114 for Audley.

I think ITV's commentary is shite. I don't believe the commentators when towards the end of the fight he just comes out and says "ive got it level". BULLSHIT, tell us how your scoring it round by round or don't tell us at all.

how on earth could you score it for fraudley?he done nothing until round 11 and he did not do a lot then lazy heartless fag.

Fair point....basically there were a number of rounds where Williams landed very little other than hooks whilst mauling on the inside whilst Audley landed vague jabs. I thought Audley's work was marginally cleaner in those rounds (eg the 5th, 7th). To be honest other than than the 1st, 10th and 11th I could probably make a case for either fighter winning each of these 9 rounds.

Audley was just shown not to be good enough tonight - I thought he'd move up a gear when he stepped up but was wrong (been wrong a fair amount this year).
Audley - Poor punching tehnique (can't even throw an arm punch right) - not ready to throw shots, couldn't mix it up, couldn't pull of his impersionation of a Ruiz jab and grab, couldn't pick shots, couldn't get a range, couldn't take a scuffed right hand. Having said all that he looked good in 11-12 if he could do that for 12rounds (which he hasnt got the stamina for) he'd be world class - well in todays poor division.
Danny was better than I thought. Have to disagree with the comments about scoring here - I scored it to Danny - he landed hurtful punches - the only clear rounds for Audley were 11,12 and 2 of the earlier 1s.

"Heartless" is right. He was atrocious, really.
As for Mitchell, he has some good qualities, but I do agree that he'll be found out at the highest level unless he improves his defense signficantly. He is at the same point now that Alex Arthur was at before the Gomez fight, and might well go the same way.

That's a bit harsh.... Audley has not got the best chin and knows it; he is making the best he can with what he has got.
But to say he is a disgrace is not fair.....

If you dont want to be hit then don't go in with a puncher.
He should have gone and done a half marathon, it wouldn't have been as embarrasing for him.

'Parcel Force' is an embarrassment to boxing. He should have his purse withheld.
He's rich, married & living in Las Vegas. He does not have the stomach for a fight.
He thought he could stroll his way to a world title, with little risk & that has backfired big time!
I hope he doesn't come back to Britain to fight!!
America, you are welcome to him!

Whatchoo talkin bout Willis?
How can you score a fight for him, when he did practically nothing & almost got KO'd twice?

It was a close fight, both Harrison and Williams are shite. I think Harrison probably has more ability but he is woefully out of shape, when he hurt Williams in the 11th he couldn't even follow it up with more than 2 or 3 punches, it was pathetic.
Yeah he was tired but from what exactly? He had done phuck all for the entire fight...
The last 3 rounds were a bit more exciting but on the whole it was a poor night for boxing because a lot of casual fans would have been turned off by what went before. Example of this is that I watched the fight with 3 others at 1am after a night out. By the third round they were all fast asleep...

That's interesting, not many have given the 12th to Audley, so it certainly isn't a "clear Audley round", but I'm in the minority who agree with you that it's Audleys round.
I'm no Audley fan (and Williams has beaten me into a lack of interest in him over the last 2 years), but I think Audley did 2 things well yesterday.
1) came back from a KO to do his best work
2) showed some respect in the post fight interview
To me, that makes him a similar "fighter" to Danny. A guy who can produce good (even great) work, but is unable to call upon it when required to do so. McGuigan reckons it's becuase he's scared. Maybe it is, I dunno.
Audley can box, Danny can punch, but neither can fight.
Skelton, the aging, podgy thai boxer, now he can fight!

Back to Vegas, i am sure there is a casino he hasn't been jeered out of yet. His performance did nothing to adhere Boxing to the casual viewer, ITV will surely think twice next time before using up prime time on a Saturday night all thanks to the two pathetic blubbers that graced our screens.

TAXI!!
One couldn't, the other wouldn't.
Feel sorry for anyone who plunked down for the overseas PPV - good claim for money back I reckon, as they were probably expecting too see a fight.
It's official - the rumours were true and Audley can't take a decent punch.
No wonder he wont get involved, he'll get clobbered if he does.
As for DW....lose some weight!
