Alright guys, new to the forum so I just wanted to say hello. Also wanted to report back as I went to see the horror show at the Excel on saterday night.

I actually missed the Skelton fight as I nipped out for something to eat, got back and then watched Khan demolish Thorpe.

Thought Minter looked pretty sharp but more work to do.

All in all and enjoyable night, managed to get a pic with Julius Francis (nice fella I might add).

By enjoyably I meant up until the main event of course.

Anyone else go on Saturday....?

I was in London for the weekend but my tickets never arrived at my hotel. Ended up at a bar in Paddington (the Pride or the one down the street. I was a little loaded). Anyway, I couldn't believe how anti Harrison the crowd was. Of the 20 people watching the fight only 2 were for Harrison. I was kinda happy though as we didn't want to be the only ones cheering for Danny.

Yep, kinda unbelievable that our Olympic gold medallist was booed to the ring in his home city...but the crowd weren't wrong in the end.

ive still got all the old tapes and that under my bed though occasionally they get played for 20 mins and I decide they are far too hectic and put on my best of val doonican cd hahaha (well not quite but somink more chilled which lets face it could include anything from megadeth down).

tho valley of the shadows by origin unknown is defo a top tune (31 seconds you may kno it as).

Yep, did Dreamscape, Helter-Skelter, all that messiness. I've got shitloads of tapes stored somewhere (Probably still at my Mum and Dads): G E Real, Top Buzz, DJ SS, early LTJ Bukem, all that stuff. Quality to have a listen to every now and again.

And yes, Valley of the shadows is a top tune. In fact, I was listening to it the other day, on some old Mixmag CD I found. Shapes were thrown.

knew dj hype pretty well as well and have been out on the piss with Alex p and brandon block many moons ago.
not a lot of sleep that night thats for sure. :P

I met Dougal once, albeit breifly. He struck me as a bit of a tit, to be honest. One of my mates runs his own night, so I've had a few nights out with various DJ's and promoters, and I've ended up a dribbling wreck every time! Quality stuff.

Nah mate, just a die hard old skool fan.

Didn't actually go to that many raves but usually frequented the Brunel Rooms in sunny swindon at the weekends. Before that it was rhythm station in Aldershot, hampshire.

Still listen to the old tunes, got hours of sets from the old skool masters...Sy, Gachet, Dee, Ratty, Top Buzz, Kenny Ken ect...

I actually still train to hardcore/jungle in the gym just to get me going....

oh well was worht a punt.

i still isten to loads fo drum and bass and its not the classic hardcore i dislike just the fillers, with endless screeching of MC's over the top
