Two old lightweights from the beginning, who wins.

They both had great power, excellent footwork, both were fantastic at slipping punches and both were durable at their peak, though Gans more so than Leonard. However, Leonard was very fast, more so than Gans I would say. Leonard had a great jab, better than Gans' and he threw better combinations. They both were pretty equal in many things, but overall, I believe Leonard was a little bit more solid all around, which I think would be the difference maker allowing Leonard to win a close decision.
