I'm not sure it'll help though. Froch, for all his flaws, should have enough power to dispose of Magee, who I've never really rated since the Brian Barbosa pull-out.

Are you sure? I reckon Magee is no better than Matthew Barney. The Robin Reid fight exposed Magee as clearly not having the minerals.

He is far better than Barney. Far more skilled. His chin is probably worse though.

Well, it will be interesting to see if Magee is able to stay on his feet and hear the final bell, without his arse having touched the canvas at any time during the previous 12 rounds.

Same as me.
I`ll probably head up for this. First boxing show I`ll have been to since the Neil Sinclair vs Bradley Pryce fight.
What part of Armagh do your folks live in James, if you don`t mind me asking?

I think Brian will put up a better performance than most people think, didnt he only lose controversally in Germany recently, i think he takes Froch the distance in a close fight.
I sure if Froch beats Brian he'll boast about beating Brian in his back yard.

Do you know I don't actually know....
My family originally lived on Railway street, they had a house at number 12, where my Grandfather Paddy Agnew ran a sort of home for waifs and strays.

Whos brian mcgee and robin read?
Froch had better get a defence before this fight happens or a lot of people will have to find another banwagon to jump onto.

Seems a way away not sure Maggee wants the fight as a loss will put him a lot further down the pecking order for world and european honners.
Doubt home advantage will bother froch much I seem to remember froch calling for a fight in Belfast at two days notice aftere the Calzagehe pull out.
We all recognise that Maggee is an opponent around European level so the fight will tell us all a lot about how good froch is if he wins and the manner of the win will also be important. Lets hope the fight can be sold to ITV. Would be good to see top domestic fights on terrestrial TV will make up for some of the bobins fights we see for "world titles".
