No truth in the rumour what-so-ever.
He's fighting James Obede Toney next - challenging for the Commonwealth middleweight title.
A toughie.

I'm not too sure Toney will be a tough assignment. Closer inspection of his record reveals of his 20 wins (18 inside) 17 of the boxers had never won a single fight. 13 of them were making their debuts. Something of a manufactured record if you ask me. The only time he boxed any opponents of any merit (ie Tatevosyan and Griffin), he failed to come away with the result.
Dann should smash him.

Glad to hear no truth in the Lawrence Murphy rumour. He's done very little to warrant a shot at the British title, even less worthy on current form.
Steven Bendall is back on the march again. Looked hungry winning the English title against Donovan Smillie last week.

Don't be so sure, just because his oponents records appear shit on boxrec means nothing, often the records of African fighters are very incomplete, and guys who look like they are on their debut, have in fact had long careers.
Tatevosyan went the distance with Howard Eastman, something Dann didn't previously.

Lawrence made his name with that wonder punch against Elcock. But that was a one off. He get the living daylights beat out of him by Farnell. That should have been it for Lawrence.
For me Dann would put him away within 6. Don't see it being competative so I hope its just a rumour.
