u like holman williams huh?? i like lyoyd marshall, he was considered even better than holman williams. marshall was a very underated middle and should be rated much higher than he gets credit for

Williams was 2-1 against Marshall.
Marshall lost to Eddie Booker, while Williams beat him and held him to a draw. Williams was also 2-0 against Jack Chase, whereas Marshall could only manage one win, one loss and one draw against the same man. While Marshall beat Ezzard Charles, Williams beat Archie Moore, and of course fought the tough series with Cocoa Kid and Charley Burley. Marshall was 1-0 against Burley, but Williams was 3-3-0-1 with the same man - something I find more impressive.
