Kerr-plunk! Another hometowner

Can't complain too much since the whole fight wasn't shown, but my overall impression was that Kerr had the edge in class. It was the first time I'd seen him and, to be honest, I thought he was going to get knocked out - Hearn looked so much bigger, fitter, determined to impose himself and impress his fans.
As it went, Kerr looked to survive the heat, and managed to comeback to sicken and slightly frustrate Hearn down the stretch. It looked like class told; a clear but close one. But just looking at the ref as the seconds of the 12th ticked down... you just fuckin know... and it sucks.
Good luck to Ryan Kerr at middleweight, looks like a tidy prospect.
