- unless bonavena clutches and becomes in survival mode against the swarmer marciano like he did in frazier II, then i expect marciano to finish him late



- oscar was a strong durable heavyweight who packed a good punch, this would not be an easy fight for marciano and unless the 51/52 catches bonavena i can see bonavena lasting on his feet

Oscar swung enough times to drop Frazier cleanly twice. I don't think he really went into a survivior mode, clutching and grabbing was just the way he fought.

i was talking about the rematch where frazier outpointed him over 15 rounds

Sorry I guess I glossed over that part. I didn't see their second fight so I can't comment on that although it was typical for Oscar to clutch and hold alot.

Oscar could hold on for as long as he wanted, But I think Marciano's rugish unrelenting power punches would've got the better of him.
