Bernard Hopkins at his best?

Even though Hopkins is still technically not a fighter of the past...I'd prefer to post this question in this forum seeing as how the posters here are far more knowledgeable than on the current scene.
We all know that the Trinidad fight was the defining moment of Hopkins' career. That being said, I'm of the opinion that Hopkins was already PAST his prime for that fight.
I have never been more impressed with Hopkins than in his fight with Glen Johnson. Johnson was clearly in his prime and hadn't been defeated (32-0). He is now considered one of the best light heavies in the world after beating both Roy Jones and Antonio Tarver. However, his fight with Hopkins wasn't even competitive. Tarver absolutely destroyed Johnson, battering him for 11 rounds before the ref finally stopped the fight. This fight, in my opinion, was Hopkins at his very, very best.
