SKY not showing Morales Vs Pacman?

I can't believe SKY aren't showing the Mormeck - Bell and Morales - Pacquio fights in January, atleast they should have been consistent and shown Morales - Pacman even delayed , next day job.

There may be a late developement and they might show the fight delayed but it wont be live though I wouldn't imagine.

Doubt they'll show the King card, unless it's a week or two later. But I'm sure they will show the Arum card with Morales.
Sky have screened just about every major Morales fights for the last 6 years.
If they don't, then I'll be hitting the CANCEL button.

It definitely wasn't a major fight regardless of what happened on the night. It was a showcase double-header to build up the rematch with Morales v Pac Man. Raheem turned out to be a daft choice and caused an upset.

Maybe not to people that had never seen raheem.
Those of us who had, consider it a major fight.

Okay Cuban Lion. I respect you think it was a major fight but your in the majority there.
Morales got beat on the night fair and square. But a tip-top Morales who is motivated and a Raheem fighting at the superfeather limit and not the Junior Welter would not beat Morales who is an all time great. Raheem is a good fighter but lacks the power and ferocity to be a great and maybe evben a title holder.

That isn't live though is it? These fights should be on live.

Yeah agree, with internet down loads and streams they may as well not bother spending our cash if it's for a week later.

forget the major fight thing,we should get to see all these fights.
Sky has 4 sports channels and really only sometimes show boxing for 2 hours a week.
they show more aerobics, surfing and wwe than boxing.
Personally i am not excited about Dawes, earl, dann fights.
And would like to see well matched up world title fights like mormeck v bell.

The only reason I have ever paid my Sky subscription is to watch boxing, I've no interest in the other sport they show, and yet they cannot even cover international boxing.
I know it's expensive to buy title fights live, but surely 24 hour delay can be done.
Can't someone PLEASE get it together to do a boxing channel.
I'd gladly pay 15 quid a month if it meant I got to see all of the major action domestically an internationally.

Agree.
Fights a week later are pretty pointless, as the excitement of boxing is any punch could be the winning punch. It is good to see them anyway but knowing the result spoils the enjoyment as you know what's going to happen.
I only keep sky for the boxing.if they are going to show it a week later or not at all it would be cheaper to get boxing dvds from america.

The reason I mentioned the major fight thing
( and upset or not, hardly anyone was interested in seeing Raheem first time round, let alone 2nd time round: hence no rematch )
was because we saw Sky paying cash for ridiculous mismatches like that Barrera blow out last year, but then give a miss to other real fights, probably because they blew the budget on a MAB warmup instead.

Does anyone know what sky pay for the usa action live or delayed?
To show a live british show i would think costs about 3 or 4 times more than usa fights.

Can remember seeing the figures before, it ain't cheap to broadcast a big fight live, which is why we see so many PPV efforts for good bouts.
Trouble is, who is telling them what fights to buy, I mean, whose idea was it to shell out on Barrera v that Mzonze uselss fokka?
What fucks me off is paying 35 nicker for sky subscription and then shelling out another 15 quid every time there's a decent bout on, then only getting delayed fights if it's not PPV, that is not acceptable.
Problem is that fighters/promoters/cable networks are fornicating greedy when it comes to boxing.
Everyone wants paying, and it's us poor saps who shell out.
Were back to the whole thing with fighters fighting less often for more money.
I'd be quite happy to watch competitive non title fights and pay for the priviledge of seeing most of the fights. It annoys me how hard it is to get to see all the action around the world, or even the most significant stuff.

at least we've been getting a lot of the major US fights, delay or no. especially since Warren took his fighters to ITV. I got the impression they were showing international fights only - in most cases - that had relevance to hatton , Scott Harrison and so on beforehand.
but yeah it pisses me off. nothing like experiencing it as it happens, Castillo-Corrales II was thrilling.
also, not showing mormeck vs bell, the swines!
