Fights and Fighters? What about Danny Hunt, is he not a fighter? The IBF, WTF? thats done and dusted, move on? The way the BBBC and in particular the Gen Sec , Mr Block have acted in this case is bordering on corrupt too and this is ongoing. Purse offer procedures are simple to understand regardless of what body is involved. This is a real and straight forward stinker and you don't care because it doesn't interest you, what about your readers. Are you MH's pal or something. Actually, he hasn't done anything wrong other than make a right FU of a simple contract, inept yes, dishonest, well not in this case (Apart from his PR, aye Wellington?

) . Basically, The BBBC allowed him to get away with it contrary to their own strict rules and then they made threats of sanction to a fighter because they got found out bending over for MH.
Yeah, right, you care about fights and fighters!
Robin Reid is a whinger, alway's has been, and he is not the first, nor will he be the last to get stiffed on foreign shores, He knew this when he went to Ottke's back-yard. Ottke refused to ever fight anywhere else so why the surprise. What about Victor Polo, where's his support. Did Reid get stiffed in Florida? Were there dark forces working to stop him training or was he quite simply shite, the latter I think!
It seems to me that the respected posters on here, you, it appears being one of them, shy away from the real issues, the important matters of the business and you are all frightened of dipping your toe in to the water to actually find out the facts and the truth, the nitty-gritty may interest you. Why is this? you soon all became armchair lawyers over the Hatton case without any evidence so why is case this different. Is DH not famous enough for you lot?
Instead, heresay and un-educated opionion is the staple diet of you people. Why find out the truth when your own, and others, answers suit your purpose and the truth might not be half as exciting
As for Max Boxing not being interested, then that in itself shows that they don't really want the truth and prefer the steady stream of controversial bullshit they and other sites gfeed the 'fans' with.
As for you, where your ambition? Screw Max Boxing, do the article and go to Boxing News or anyone else, ambition, hello?
The truth is, none of the posters on here actually know anything about the sport other than what they see on TV, are told by other fools, or they read about on these cancerous forums.
Either shit or get of the Toilet I say!
Here endeth the lesson!

Lesson in what. Invective, spite, bile?
You might think this story is of earth shattering importance because as Mighty Warrior points out, it gives you another opportunity to gloat and slag off the opposition. Good for you, but if you want to find someone to write this piece, I suggest you commission someone else, I'm not interested.
As I said earlier, quite simply I do not have the time or inclination, which bit of that do you not understand? Perhaps if someone in your family develops alzheimers you will see that quite frankly I don't really give a tinkers fart about this situation right now, in the scheme of things it's about as relevant to me as a gnat's testicles.
This forum may be full of conjecture, but there's a reason for that mate, it's that promoters never tell the bloody truth, and that goes for all of them. We are all left to infer the truth from what we here, because it's virtually impossible to get a straight answer. I'll give you an example if I may. When I phoned Sports Network last year to find out about rumours that Vivian Harris wasn't going to fight Hatton and that the fight was off, I spoke to Mr Warren directly, and asked him a straight question
"So Frank, what's going on with the fight, I've heard it may be in trouble."
"The fight will go ahead as planned."
"So there's no truth in the rumours that...."
"I said the fight will go ahead as planned."
This continued until i was given the firm impression I wasn't going to get any further information.
Now, as well all know, this fight never happened, because Harris pulled out. Now of course, that's not allegedly's fault, it was Harris and his new manager Manny. However, I think it very likely that Frank by this time knew that the fight was in trouble. If i had heard it was on the skids, then I'm pretty sure someone directly involved would know before I did. However, my suggestion that it was in trouble was stonewalled and met with more than a little bad temper and annoyance.
This is a typical reaction not just of the head man at Sports Network, but people involved in the business aspect of the game across the board. Fighters don't want their purses declared, managers don't want to declare all their interests and options in various fighters. Promoters don't want to delcare their assets or how much they pay their fighters, nobody wants to tell anyone anything.
If you want everyone to know what's going on, simple, open the fornicating books up so we have facts and figures, if not, don't complain when people have to try and second guess. what are we supposed to do, phone promoters up and demand the truth, or call them liars if we don't believe what we're told.
If you wipe your finger round the toilet rim, don't be surprised when it comes back smelling of shit.
You constantly regale everyone for knowing fornicate all about boxing, whilst neglecting to mention that the only reason you know anything is that you work for a promotional outfit yourself, despite your denials it's clear as crystal that you do, but don't have the gumption, or the authority to come out and declare it in the open, which I don't know.
As for ambition, i have other fish to fry, and I certainly don't need to take directions from you on what i should write about. I write about what interests me, and what i think will interest readers. Despite what you might think, not many people are really that interested in the ins and outs of what the BBBofC does aside from people on the inside who have been complaining about the board for years now.
If it's no surprise that Reid got shafted in Germany, it's even less of a surprise that the board have failed to uphold their own strictures (allegedly) , it's hardly the first time the board have been accused of serving their own or others interests rather than their own rules and regulations.
Maxboxing is a mainstream boxing forum, which generally speaking covers major international bouts, and contender level fighters from around the world. They are primarily covering american boxing however.
If you are so keen on doing a hatchet job on Hennessy and the board, then why don't you write in to them yourself, you seem to fancy yourself as something of a doyenne of boxing, so perhaps you could write in under a nom de plume.
You obviously don't read maxboxing very often, if you think they are part of the rumour mill you are always whinging about, on the whole maxboxing are a professional and fair handed outfit who run balanced pieces about the sport.
