Anyone see this story on secondsout apparently Harrison has been offered an undercard spot against Gammer in feb. In my oppinion he might as well take the fight if he is in shape, if he wins he will have a good shout for a crack at Skelton who Gammer has officially lined up after that fight a fight which might salvige his carrer and certainly put him in European contension again which is in my view what he should try to do if he truly wants to be Heavyweight champion.

He has conned the British public for years; fighting poor cruiserweights & always being 'injured'!

'Parcel Force' is a faker & should stay in the USA.

I dont see any way Harrison could beat Skelton. Skelton might be crude but he is way too busy and relentless for Harrison. Skelton would stop him. I really don't see him going down that road.

not that i'm keen on seeing Audley return to a British ring after his last performance, but in my opinion he will be a fool to turn to down such an offer, and try and regain some credibility, if he does'nt then good riddance!

If he was serious he would take that undercard offer if he wants to win anyone back.

The author of the secondsouts.com article is clearly not an Audley fan is he?

The only thing in his professional career that has suggested to me that Audley has something "champion" about him how he came back after the knock down against Danny.

Let's see if his ego gets in the way of a good chance to win back some fans.

He should phone Axel Schulz who thinks the same and is bad enough that Harrison has a chance to win.........

He should knuckle down and get on with it IMO. On the basis of the dreadful display against Danny Klump, he wouldn't stand a chance against a top 10er.

But he should now be looking to get a bit of respect from the public. And that means keeping quiet, knuckling down and fighting solid opponents and taking what he's given. And if he gets a shot at a title or even v Skelton, I wouldn't care if he won or not, just so long as he stays in there giving it 100% until the end of the 12th.

He should take the Gammer fight. He beats (probably stops Gammer) 4 times out of 5 IMO.

Audley should get his ego in check, and take this fight. His options are limited after his last performance, and he can't afford to be sitting out for months at a time at his age.

Gammer will be a good opponant for Harrison to get the Williams loss out of his system. He's a fool if he doesn't take it.

Boxrec has Scott Gammer scheduled to fight Michael Sprott for the Vacant European (EBU-EU) Heavyweight Title on the Williams V Skelton undercard .

That would mean him having to have more than 3 fights a year! I can't see him doing that, especially now that it has been officially confirmed what we all knew before; he is a faker!

strange that the BBC only break this story today, but it's been kicking around a few days and already written off elsewhere (Gammer, etc.)

If Audley took this fight my respect for him would rocket. But that's not difficult - having bought tickets to the Williams fight and suffered that, I currently have no respect for him at all.

He should take this fight, Get KOd and leave for good. But he's not going to do anything rash like that is he?

The BBC are rarely that sharp and on the ball with their website where boxing is concerned.

Funny isnt it, so many people were saying Audley will go all the way while my money was on Skelton - Now everyone is virtually calling Harrison a tosser and I see someone is saying what I said long ago that Skelton was a far better fighter - Maybe Skelton isnt pretty to watch but he is a very big hard man with a huge heart and with no Lewis or Klitchco (OK forgive the spelling you know who I mean ) he just maybe could do it and get the ultimate prize - Harrison has no chance, never thought he had - You have to have the determination Skelton has - You will see a very different fight when its Skelton v Williams and again my money is on Skelton.

True, lets not forget Harrison had Williams in all sorts of trouble in the 11th round I think Skelton will demolish him.

I think Skelton will go through Williams, who hasn't got the fitness to outbox him over 12. But I'm usually wrong.

Harrison won't want any part of Skelton, or anyone remotely dangerous. He'll need to rebuild his ego with a diet of American clubfighters for 6 months.

The thing is though: he could've been a very successful heavyweight had he pushed himself mentally.
Same thing with Williams too.

A lot of heavies seem to suffer from lack of self-belief; increased fear of injury due to power maybe?
I mean, many of the lighter South American guys appear to relish a good war.

It is a shame about Harrison.
He's a good technical boxer, ruined because a failure to land the short straight left crushes his desire.

I can't see this fight happening.

I hope that 'Parcel Force' reads this forum, because despite the fact that the man is a spineless waste of space, fight fans still want to talk about him.

I really wanted him to be the real deal, but when I saw the slow pace that his career was progressing at & the fact that he was always 'injured', I knew then that he was a busted flush.

It's very sad, because somewhere inside that tin man exterior, there is a decent fighter in there, who could have cleaned up the H/W division, post Lennox Lewis.

Sadly, this will never happen, as he doesn't even have the balls to compete with an average (& out of shape) Danny Williams.

I hope he sits back & reflects on what could have been.

He should just sit & watch Amir Khan; that's how an Olympian should start a pro career!
