Does Koc have a chance on Saturday.

I know this thread will turn into a pun into Koc's name eventually (probably with me, instigating it all)... but in all seriousness, does Cengiz stand a chance on Saturday. I actually gave Mr K a decentish chance before what I have read today - regarding Vidoz's preperation, but after this there must be some huge concerns if your a fan of the Italian.
Read this - from another forum - a reliable poster, but he doesn't state where the quote is from - it is an interview with Vidoz.
"Paolo, most people assume that you will easily defeat Cengiz Koc. "
"Not me. I never underrate anybody. Besides, I’m not training properly because of my legal problems. I’m trying to become a free agent and spend most of my time with my lawyer. Cengiz Koc is a good boxer. I can say that because I faced him when we were amateurs. With the European champonship at stake, he will be motivated and enter the ring at 100%. Besides, he is the local favorite and that is more important in Germany than in other countries. I say that the outcome of the fight is uncertain. "

Vidoz have just changed (or wants to change) manager from Mario Loreni to Salvatore Cherchi (OPI 2000), there have been legal troubles in the proces.

I give Cengiz a 50/50 chance. If he did a bit more than Skelton he could win on points. The workrate will decide this fight. both are no great technical boxers. Cengiz is always in good condition and this could be the key.

I think if Koc can get up for the fight he has a chance.

Koc wasn't very hard vs Sprott though.

You mean Sprott not Skelton Bubi? If it was Skelton in there i doubt we could accuse him of "Doing a bit more" as one thing the Beford has in abundance is workrate and effort (ok two things)

oh yes, it was Sprott who disappointed me in the Vidoz-fight

Well any other time I would have said Vidoz would make Koc sweat big time, but if Vidoz himself has admitted his training hasn't been going as planned, I'd maybe give Koc a distinct chance as long as he stays upright for 36 mins.

I don't fancy Videz's chances here, as long as Koc doesn't fire off too early and maintains his stamina i think he will win.

And I don't want to see any dirty Koc-hugging tactics from Vidoz either

I know but if Koc doesn't start too fast then he has a chance of not blowing too early.

Vidoz is not a good trainer at the best of times so I dont think it will make much difference. Vidoz should win a close decision IMO.
