This looks to be set for the Masoe/Sidorenko card in March.

An interesting one. There are a lot of eastern european heavyweight prospects with 0s still intact, and there had to be a point where things start to change. That's how I see it anyway.

Two pretty big punchers. I'd favour Chagaev, who is more of a prospect in that he has 5 years over Virchis, but more to the point Virchis has had a couple of sticky moments - notebaly against Bidenko and Sprott. He looked sluggish and plodding against Sprott, and his punch wouldn't have got him out of danger that night (if Sprott had made sure of the win/he had anyway - a different argument.)

So Chagaev for me, although I don't know if either could get a KO.

Should be a bruiser. Good test for Chagaev and I favour him to win. Once concern about Ruslan would be how his stamina holds up if Virchis can soak up his bombs and take it late.

If Chagaev is to live up to his amateur hype (beating Savon etc) then he should steam roller Virchis.

Would like to see 'the white Tyson' in with a recognisable American name next so we can properly gauge his progress.

What's Virchis' chin like? No doubt Chagaev will be the biggest puncher he's come up against, but have any past opponents rocked him?
