Surviving a brutal round

What was the worst beating that a fighter withstood for an entire round? I think of Willard surviving 7 knockdowns and a broken face against Dempsey. And both Hagler and Hearns in the first round of their affair. What are some others?

In Holyfield-Cooper both fighters took a pounding and survived.
Gatti in Ward-Gatti 1 round 9
Braithwaite in round 1 vs Guillermo Jones
Brewster in round 4 vs Klitschko
There are MANY examples . . .

Yaqui Lopez-Saad Muhammed. I think it was the 8th round. Muhammed took a frightful pounding, before turning it right before the round ended.

Duran-Buchanan, round five. Buchanan showed his professionalism and class by using his defensive skills and fighting instincts to last out a round in which he was stunned, hurt and sent reeling. He even lasted up until the thirteenth. The twelfth was a very rough round for him as well.

Great call Pete, that was the first one that came to my mind. Golota outlanded him something like 74-8 with a lot of those being power shots.

Several years ago I saw fight in Temecula Cali; 12 rounds for the Mexican lightweight title or something. One guy was 19-0 with 15kos and the other guy was 26-0 or something. I have never seen such a beating; the 19-0 guy seemed like he'd never had gloves on before in his life. He got pounded- if there were punch stat numbers they'd have been in the 70-2 range all night long. The fight was stopped with under a minute to go in the last round, at which point I was angr. Wh not let him finish a fight that should've been stopped in the 2nd or 3rd round? The winner was a bit of an arm puncher which could've been a blessing or a curse, but good God that other guy took a beating.

First and only round I have ever officially scored 10-8 without a knockdown.
