JAMIE MOORE - Beat the normally durable Ukraine fighter Vladimir Borovski on Friday night with a 3rd round stoppage . Jamie has been promised a big fight in Manchester during April and is now having a week in the sun before resuming training.
STEPHEN WOOD - Blames himself for the busted lip Jamie received on Friday night . Always one to tell the fighters not to take it easy ,Steve took his responsibilities easy last week and never bothered with a video of the Ukraine kid. The opening punch was a sweet uppercut that busted Jamie's mouth and it connected before we realized that we were fighting a southpaw. Considering Jamie had no southpaw sparring he did a very good number on the Ukraine.
ALEX MATTVIENKO - Alex has had to pull out of his next fight on the under card of Ali Nuumbembe v Joshua Okine bill with back trouble. It is a blow for the Bolton ticket seller as he was looking forward to fighting on the 12th February on what is the best non TV card in Manchester for a very long time. Hopefully , he should be back soon.
