The first poll was just about funny. And I mean 'Just'. But this is poor.

And seriously, if you're trying to score points with the whole 'Calzaghe is crap, and hasn't fought anyone', this ain't the place. We've all seen Joe's career, so us Briton's have the genuine complaints. We all know how good he could have been, and how good he turned out. I think the 'ducking' jokes would work better with the American audience. It might still be funny there, most of us here just don't care anymore; we've had to suffer years of crap from Joe. America only became interested when Lacy showed up.

Mind you, whilst I feel Lacy is on the way up, and Joe is on the way down, not to mention the additional fact that I've never been a huge fan of Calzaghe and that a Lacy win is better for boxing, I will piss myself if Joe wins, especially if he does it as easily as I think he might.

Nowt to do with the British sense of humour. It's just that trying the same joke twice... diminishing returns, and all that. Plus the fact that the first attempt wasn't so much funny, as everyone over here not caring. Calzaghe is perhaps the least respected world class fighter Britain has produced in my time.

lord knows calzaghe has pulled out of numerous fights in his day

I've heard rumours about increased demand for diarhoea medication from Cardiff pharmacies.

I have been very critical of Calzaghe for a long time now but i am going to be a total hypocrite and back him to KO Lacy. I have only criticised Calzaghe for his lack of ambition and dire string of foes but now he is a meaningful 50/50 matchup i think i am going to support him Go Joe, spark the Yank. Lol.

Agreed, I'm fully behind him. I've always liked Lacy, but I don't think he's as good as some are making out, and part of me would love it if Joe made our friends on the other side of the pond eat their words. Would be a great night for British boxing.
