Oh it's not reliable....it's an interview with Arum which is in doghouse boxing, (not knocking doghouse, just saying nothing is confirmed) but Arum is merely saying they are 'in discussions' apparently.

who the fornicate (probably swear word to be replaced by smeg) is Hatton fighting, Baldomir or Cotto?

Baldomir is an interesting scenario - making Hatton the lineal champ at 140 and 147. imo Cotto will fight Castillo - especially if Castillo wins a gruelling fight vs Corrales, and even more probable if JLC loses.

Just to clarify, James - you might very well have got it from Doghouse but they do what they always do. Put no effort in and just copy and paste other people's hard work. Which is probably illegal, even though they credit the source.

It's from the Sheffield Star. I know they've credited it but the exact reaction they want is "It's from Doghouse". Is it frederick-uck. They hardly do any British-related stuff themselves.

I know most of you won't give a monkeys but it's annoying if it's happens to you...

Stricly speaking Ian, think it's legal so long as you make it clear that you are lifting the quote from the source. It's perfectly acceptable to quote other sources as part of a bigger story, though it's pretty trite to simply lift and post a story as if it is written by your own hand, should be part of a discussion of various stories if you're going to do that.

In fairness, this was from the forum however, not the website, so they were merely quoting it, don't know if it was clear where from. I just happened to glance at it quickly.

Yeah, it's about 2-3 hours south of where I live, and I could take a bus there in the morning and it would come back at night. However, the stadium is tiny and doesn't really offer any great size at all.

Having said that 3000 might well be enough for Hatton's US debut, as well known as he is he is not going to become a huge ticket seller overnight over there he needs exposure. Plus if Foxwoods have offered a huge site fee then Hatton is quids in even with a smaller gate. Baldomir at Foxwoods is perfectly acceptable for his US debut, I don't really see any other fights on the horizon that are more interesting other than Mayweather (fighting Judah who Baldomir has just beaten!) or Cotto (no way I think Arum will put cashcow Cotto in with Hatton, he has been struggling against B/C level fighters).

i'm hoping hatton signs to meet acelino freitas, now that would be a good one. pow pow v the hitman. only one winner though.

Yes, the site fee is the difference here, it makes up for the lost gate I guess. 20,000 tickets at 80 dollars a head is a lot of money, if you're talking about what he was pulling in at MEN. Wonder just how much foxwoods are paying?

It looks more and more likely that it is Baldomir next, it's just down to the the money being made right for Baldomir from what I understand.
