Mark Hobson will replace Nelson. You heard it here first! Better fight in my opinion, tougher for Macc though - Hobson has been waiting for this opportunity for a long time and has been in training since New year....come on!!

Hobson wont be tougher than Nelson???!
It also wont be for the title and the fight that Enzo has been chasing for years. I bet Enzo is well pissed off and the fact that he is now facing Hobson wont make him any happier!

Probably interim WBO title if Frank gets his way - which he usualy does.

Good fight this one, I'd have to say that i'd make Macca a very slight favourite at the moment, purely on the fact that he has been more busy.

Fair play to them if Hobson has been brought in as a replacement, tough fight for Enzo. Also great news for Mark as I think everyone was struggling to think what direction his career could take from here.

Why not make it for Brit & Comm titles? Since Nelson defended against Cantetore in November hopefully we wont have any WBO interim stuff going about

HE should fight a Brit Champ before going for world champ belts. This will actually help him when he steps up the competition. Enzos been chasing this for years - yea but who has he beat to earn a shot.

Isn't Hobson the British and Commonwealth champ anyway??
Surely they couldn't meet and it not be a title fight?!?

Yeah, Hobson holds both titles.
Of course, no reason why they both just can't fight for the sake of winning, but somehow I feel certain persons/organisations will feel a "title" of some sort will be needed to make a good fight like this even better

Hobson deserves a chance after the on-off-on-off fight with Haye. Great idea to get all the UK's best cruisers together. Hopefully Haye gets the winner of the next WBO cruiser fight

Great fight. Maybe even better than Nelson vs. Mac, entertainment-wise.

Good fight.
Should make for a good entertaining fight stylewise.
Lets hope there are no other fight changes though on that bill.

There might be a problem, Hobson is not rated by WBO so I doubt it will be for the WBO interim title.

I'm sure Warren could pull a few strings with the WBO wouldn't be the first time. ;)

boxrec are now listing this as Enzo-tba for the WBO Interim title. What an absolute load of shit if this is true. Nelson defended in November. I take it this happens because Enzo is the WBO #1 or something? Otherwise, we'll be having Owen Beck as WBA Interim champion due to Valuev's injury.
What an absolute load of bollocks.
Interesting philosophy taken in the WBOs welterweight rankings too. Jennings for some unbeknown reason was regarded the world's #1 contender by the WBO b4 the Muttley fight. Now he has completely vanished, and Muttley is #10. Fantastic. Beat the #1 contender and you get a #10 ranking. fornicate me.
I think Enzo should just keep the WBU title. It's more credible

btw, fightnews mention Cantetore as a possible opponent for Enzo

Being told it is Cantatore now and not Hobson, This source is certain and usually gives good info.

That's just bizzare, and I'm sure WBO champ Margarito can now sleep soundly at night.
No definite word on Hobson then? He's due to fight this Friday.
Is he moving up through the WBO ratings as we speak? Probably ranked about number three by now...
Good fight if it happens, has he ever been knocked down?

He was stopped by Rothmann on a corner retirement, I cant recall if there were any knockdowns though.

Haye? Why, if he really wanted a piece these guy's why did he sign for Maloney? There's your answer?
Still, he will have to face Cantatore next, probably on ITV and a Warren show. I hear Rome is nice this time of year too!!!
