Adding yet more to the speculation that Hatton will face Baldomir, as a stepping stone to a superfight with the winner of Mayweather v Judah fight (April 8th). Hatton is appearing as special guest on ESPN in a few days. I smell Bob Arum at work here.

wouldnt surprise me a bit...arum is a master of connivance (altho king gets most of the bad press, they are basically in the same league for underhanded conniving!!)...

Just watched a new video clip of Hatton over on Boxing Scene giving an interview to 'on fire' Agguire. He was quite evasive and seemed not his usuall self. It was unusuall for him.
He will need to do a better job on ESPN, if he is his normall self i am sure the fans out there will take well to him.

Whats the bet that floyd will pop up on live feed from somewhere and show his class by running his mouth.

Was over in the states last year with work and caught hattons appearance on one of the sports shows shortly after the tszyu fight and floyd mouthed away like a good un on video talking shit, the host turned to ricky and asked well what do you think? hattons reply was brilliant "well hes a class act isnt he" even made the host smirk.

Bar Adam Smith's memorable moment the interviewing he's used to over here won't have prepared him for the type of questioning on ESPN - if that recent Floyd Mayweather interview is anything to go by.

Wonder whether all this shenanigans with M'baye's court case, and Ricky being summoned to New York isn't affecting him, it's not an ideal build up to his American campaign.

Warren is going to do everything humanly possible to stick a pin in Hatton's fantasy American baloon ride.

Might also indicate that negotiations with Baldomir aren't going as planned, perhaps Gatti has got the gig?

i really hope warren's garbage doesnt torpedo ricky's american plans, it should be a big boost for the international boxing scene!!
