These days it seems that any fighter ready to answer the telephone can get some sort of a title shot. Anyone got some sort of idea who has got the worst record in title fights?

I had a look at the Sprott & Palatis records after the weekend fight and Sprott is 6-6 in title fights (in decent class 8) ), and Palatis 2-9 with 1 draw (mainly for French titles). Is anyone worse than Palatis?

Must admit I was quite embarrassed when the commentator mentioned that it was a second division european title. I thought what must the poor casual fight fan be thinking ?

BTW, anyone else think that Palatis looked like an obese scott dann ?

Slightly off the beaten track, but Zhora Mstoyan had an impressive 0-15 record going in to the big Ural and Sibirien Region Middleweight Title fight last June.

He is now 0-16

Jesse James Leija must have quite a hefty losing record, though I don't really want to lump him in with Palatis, who is shite in comparison.
