Pac-Man & Larios has been set for May i believe, just seen the article on Seconds Out.

I'd say if Pac-Man could jump on Larios early maybe he could get him out of there quick.

Anyway i'd expect Pac-Man to prevail by stoppage.

You've got to say this for Pacman, he wants to face anyone and everyone.

Is there another fighter currently campaiging who has had such a streak of taking the best available competition on. Barrera, Marquez, Morales twice, now Larios and then Morales again? That's some schedule for a 2-3 year period.

He certainly doesn't like an easy ride, does he?

Although after seeing Larios go down against Vasquez I can't see him lasting too long with Pac.

Judging by the fact that he recently had to admit to paternity of a child out of wedlock, there's a contradiction in there.

Smart moneys on Pac but Larrios could pose problems with his reach, workrate, movement and solid skills. People are in love with Pac at the moment but Morales and Marquez boxed his head off.

Larios won't be small either, he always looked huge at 122 he'll get stronger from moving up

But I think Manny's speed and power would see him win sooner rather than later

I think Larios is fairly overrated esp in the skills department and doesn't have the power to keep Manny away

Full respect to Pacquiao for accepting this fight, one thing is for sure there will be a lot of punches thrown. I wouldn't be surprised to see Larios pose Pacquiao plety of problems. He got caught early versus Vazquez and seemingly didn't want anymore part of the fight, if he can stay away from Pacquiao's power early and avoid any knockdowns i can see him growing in confidence and giving Pacman a tought nights work.

Do you know what James? I have never liked or been a fan of Pacman but looking at it like that I have to respect the man.

Hard not to like Manny. I wasn't sold on him at first, thought he was too one dimensional, but he's shown two things.

1 He trains like an absolute demon, he's got to be one of the fittest and strongest fighters around, and he's carrying his power up through the weights, against Morales in the 2nd fight, he looked like a beast. Justin Fortune must be a great conditioner, because Pacman never looked better.

2 He has shown he can make adjustments, everyone went on about how Morales was washed up, but Manny fought a very intilligent fight, and had the tactics spot on, set Morales up with the jab and got inside his lead right and battered him up close with shots from body to head and back. Showed more variety in his work and better use of straight shots.

Yeah, I've never really liked Manny. He broke my heart when he smashed Barrera, and I've always thought him nothing more than a freakishly strong puncher, with quick hands. His technique has improved a great deal though.

If Wayne Mcullough could trouble Larios (which he did first time) Manny can. Manny is like like a super punching version of Wayne (discounting Waynes uber chin).

Easy enough nights work for Pac Man this. Bet your house on it.

Yes, manny reminds me of Shane Mosley, but he's adding more wrinkles to his game, and if he can keep improving he could surpasas Mosley's achievements, in fact, he arguably already has. People talk about Mosley as if he were a masterful boxer, but his speed and power were what got him through most of all.

Good choice by Manny, not too tough to wear him out before Morales, and not easy enough for anyone to cry, "Tune-up!".

Would far rather see him in there with Barrios, truly that'd be a pitfight.

Cant argue with that...Thats exactly what I thought...one dimensional...still not completely sold on him....

Think Pacman would knock Barrios' block off, but agreed, would be great whilst it lasted. Barrios is a lot cruder than Pacman, but he holds a shot pretty well.

Larios then Morales? both seem a tad faded now. But Pac did want Barrera again. Barrera must feel like a nob, opting for a Chavez fight instead of Pacquiao, only for Chavez to pull out with injury.

I wish there was an outstanding fighter who was a natural super featherweight around. Would be good to see how Pac's aggression fares vs a man natural to 130. The main fights at 130 seem to be super bantams and feathers moved up.

I don't want to sound too hard, but I doubt Manny could beat a Great super feather - i.e. prime Mayweather & going back Azumah Nelson, Brian Mitchell, Arguello

Why is Larios faded, because he lost one fight? I think the words faded and shot are well overused in boxing.

he seemed a bit used up by the time of that 3rd Vasquez fight. The previous fight with Vasquez, Larios took the best Israel threw at him, came back with huge #s of punches and overwhelmed him. he doesn't look the same man & I can't help but think after his last couple of showings that Pac-Larios is devalued.

maybe that was weight making, maybe it was just Vasquez' improvement/fast start, or maybe Larios had been in too many punch marathons.

also, for a man known for his punch output, he looked messy and knackered vs McCullough II. I never saw Larios-McCullough I, but I heard that was the last time Larios looked really good?
