I thought Jose has some Gall complaining about play acting after Robben's Bafta deserving performance the other week.....rough justice methinks.

His Porto team was a disgrace, although it was funny when they did it to Lazio a few years back in the UEFA cup semis.Terence wrote:They do it to other teams though so all's fair. Jose wants to play that continental diving and rolling game so we played it back. Good stuff.Coconut wrote:Thet'll only get someone sent offTerence wrote: Roll on the second leg.
Arsenal won only because of its French striker and German goalkeeper.Cannibal wrote:It was worse with Arsenal Vs Real Madrid. If you went by the commentators you'd swear Madrid were playing Kettering Town or something, they didn't give Arsenal much of a chance and kept nut hugging Madrid.
Behave. Italian football is utter drivel. 3mph. 8-1-1 formations. Shit and predictable. Lazio-v-Milan? Juventus win 1-0. From a set piece.pundit wrote:The good football is anyway played in Italy
Yeah - no defense makes always for entertaining football.jamesmcdonnell wrote:Quanify best......the premiership is vastly more entertaining than the football from spain and italy.
I think they took the game to Madrid, watch the first half of that game again and you won't believe Madrid to be the home team with the attack Arsenal launched on them. Then when Arsenal scored early in the second it was well deserved and I thought them to be the better team on the night.pundit wrote:Arsenal won only because of its French striker and German goalkeeper.Cannibal wrote:It was worse with Arsenal Vs Real Madrid. No chance to see good football in the US, unless you are prepared to pay insane cable fees. I just read that Henry scored (who else) and that Lehmann made a couple of good saves. Btw, why is Arsenal's season going so bad?Cannibal wrote:I think they took the game to Madrid, watch the first half of that game again and you won't believe Madrid to be the home team with the attack Arsenal launched on them. As far as English football going backwards you have Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all remaining in the Champions League and all of them you can visualise winning it, in past years you'd have one English team you'd fancy but never favour.
They sold Patrick Viera to Juventus and didn't adequately replace him which took a big physical part out of their game, on top of this some of their older players that they relied on in past years haven't been performing to standard this year in my opinion. I think they lack physicality and are getting outmuscled a lot lately. Their pile up of injuries also doesn't help.pundit wrote:No chance to see good football in the US, unless you are prepared to pay insane cable fees. Yet despite the fact you don't watch it you feel perfectly qualified to claim that the Spanish and Italian leagues are betterpundit wrote:No chance to see good football in the US, unless you are prepared to pay insane cable fees.
Unless you are talking about the 80's when Liverpool were the absolute dons.Cannibal wrote:I think they took the game to Madrid, watch the first half of that game again and you won't believe Madrid to be the home team with the attack Arsenal launched on them. In which case, shut the phuk up mate, as you don't know what you're talking about.pundit wrote:No chance to see good football in the US, unless you are prepared to pay insane cable fees.
