Is it true that Liverpools former British Super-Featherweight Champion Sugar Gibiliru is dead?

I remember watching him fight on ITV in the 1980's and 1990's.

It is briefly mentioned in the Old Timers section in this weeks Boxing News.

The guy is only about 39? Anymore details anyone?

It was the father of the Sugar I was thinking of who sadly passed away late last year.
