i thought your boy looked pretty good for most of the way and finished the fight impressively.

i still think he stands around and tries to block too much. there are times when i'd like to c him get out of situations quicker and not lay around looking relaxed.

someone needs to stick something up his arse.

i agree that williams has the talent to beat scott dann. problem is, your boy don't like southpaws does he.

that's why i'm not 100% on the dann fight.

Richard looked good and I know what you mean about being in the line of fire and blocking - but he has good text book skills and can get his shots off when in range - I think he is favourte to beat Dann if they fight - no guarantees - but you can guarantee nothing in this world apart from the fact HH1 is a bitch.





RW looked faster than I have seen him before - even at light middle - he carried the 11st 7lb well last night - good to see him back and hope he can build on this now.

Richard said he hopes to be back out in May.

RW is a classy boxer and I think that much is obvious. Good luck to him!

As for Bami - yes - british title is a fight he should take - I do worry about his chin though!

I thought RW looked very good on Friday. Very sharp, good combos. It seems as though he's found his appetite for the fight game again.

Let's hope he doesn't lose it again.

What a relief it was to see Richard Williams back. He was defjnitely the highlight of the weekend's boxing for me. Always adds a touch of class to the viewing and frankly, I could have watched him all night long. Shame on Sky for not showing every round

Good to see him get a good workout over the eight rounds, which he needed. One more contest like that and he'll be ready for the British title. It's obvious Sky appreciate his smooth skills so I doubt it will be a problem when it comes to TV backing.

Nice to see him back, I'd like to see him in an eliminator, against the like of Elcock , Macklin or Bendall
