"Night of The Irish" live from the Roxy Nightclub, St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2006. The main event pits former British Commonwealth welterweight champion Neil Sinclair (28–4, 24 KOs) taking on former IBF jr welterweight champion "Cool" Vince Phillips (48–9–1, 34 KOs) in a 10 round Welterweight matchup televised live on ESPN 2 "Friday Night Fights." Sinclair will be making his American television debut when he takes on Phillips. Phillips, the ageless wonder, is coming off a spectacular win over previously unbeaten Kelson Pinto on October 13, 2005.

Good fight and opportunity for Neil hopefully he can do a job on Phillips

Phillips win over Pinto makes this interesting, i back Sinclair on points but who knows, if Phillips can land a few early we all know that Sinclair's chin doesn't hold up too well to big shots.

I think Phillips will win by stoppage.

Ya I get the feeling if Vince rides out the early blitz from Sinclair he could catch up with Neil down the stretch. Hopefully Sinclair will beat him though

Should be a good fight this, surprised Sinclair is taking an old banger on like Phillips though. As much as I like Neil, hes a great guy I have a bad feeling Neils boxing skills will not over see Phillips punch. Sinclair can hit, but I have a feeling Phillips may land a solid one.

Fair play to Neil, if he beats Phillips not a bad road back. Better than what he would of got in the UK, at least he should get up for this fight.

I was thinking the same thing myself. Hope it happens though, it's a pretty intriguing fight.

Phillips will win, the man can still whack and Sinclair is still chinny.

You do worry about Sinclairs chin, and his inactivity.

I still think he'll come through this though, at 42 and after all his battles, I wonder what Phillips will have left. The Pinto decision was a technical decision due to cuts, but Phillips did drop Pinto in round 1.

I keep changing my mind with this one actually.

Lets just say I'd like Sinclair to win.

Sinclair is claiming a cut over his eye for the reason to cancel. A disappointed Phillips claims its not a cut over his eye but "a hole in Sinclair's heart."

Not surprised, the guy lost the motivation years ago - very hard to get it back.

I hope he retires now and enjoy his life.

No offence to Sinclair, but if he has pulled out again he is wasting everyone's time, he did multiple pull out's when based over this side of the world.

I never did see how moving over the big pond was going to improve his obvious mental fragility.

Why the fornicate is he bothering? That must be at least 4 fights he's pulled out of now. RETIRE!

I am inclined to agree, will anyone take a proposed fight with Snclair seriously again?
