Well, how's about this for a tip. Watching Calzaghe on the pads with his dad, I'd say his left hand ain't fully recovered from the Ashira fight.

Heart says Calzaghe, head says Lacy somewhere after the 8th round.

If Joe can't put the pop in his rear hand he's going to have a very tough night.

A fully fit Calzaghe firing on all cylinders would have his work cut out against Lacy, let alone one with a bad hand.

Joe's going to have to jab and move and box his way to victory, but I can't see him doing that against such a physical specimen as Left Hook.

HAHA, no skills my ass. The kid has a very, very solid chin, has tons of heart and desire. May not be the fastest guy, but he hits like a fornicating bus. He hasn't had any major hand problems in his career, and he's young and hungry to make a statement...what does Joe have for intangibles going in? Coming off a broken hand, talking about retirement, changing classes, fighting infront of HIS fans eventhough he's not English, the fact he hasn't fought anyone decent since Richie Woodhall in 2000...what exactly is it that you see making this such an easy fight for Joe?

I wouldnt rank Lacy up with Galindez, who was one of the toughest fighters I've seen and very smart too... he was a great fighter...

I also have a feeling that Joe will suffer with his hands in this fight. He won't give in yet I'll be interested to see if he hits hard with the left early. I also feel that Joe is going to spring a surprise and box it in this fight. He is not daft and keeps talking about this war he is going to have, I reckon he is putting us all on.

I can't help wondering whether this fight has come 2 years too late for Joe... he's been unimpressive in his last few fights and its a question really of whether that is due more to lack of motivation and his out of the ring problems or if it is due to real physical decline...

Joe should box Lacy at least early on... if his hands are good I see a clear win for him but if his hands go then he could have trouble... I just hope he doesn't go all out for an early win as that could be a mistake...

I can understand having confidence in your guy, would we be fans without it? However, I think overconfidence has put KO Artist into some sort of delusional state. To say Joe will win, fair enough, but to say it'll be one of his easiest fights is a tad on the silly side. Well more than a tad, but I don't wanna hurt feelings.

Some of you play Lacy off as a guy with no skills, and just the ability to throw haymakers. If he is tough as nails, as many think he is, fighting in England plays into his strength, seeing as he can use more rough tactics to score a W. I really think fighting in England will work more in Jeff's favor than Joe's, with the exception of the crowd.
