Well what will Boxingchat say about this.
allegedly has invited Ricky Hatton to be ringside at the fight tonight, Hatton has accepted.
they have not spoke for 8 months , since Hatton refused to sign a contract with Warren

Maybe he's going to kneecap him in the carpark.

In all seriousness, I don't rule out at all them working together again at some point in the future, and I think it's a good thing that Warren has made the offer, presuming of course it was genuine. It would have been a shame for Hatton not to be able to attend and see Joe in action.
Spats in boxing between promoter and fighter are hardly a rarity.

Maybes hes invited him and he'll refuse entry to him when he gets there

I read Frank was going to text Hatton an invite, but I'm surprised Ricky has accepted - sitting next to Frank after all that's gone on the last 6 months - talk about slightly awkward!
Where did you hear this?
When Joe flattens Lacy, Frank will probably leap out of his seat and throw one of those TNT uppercuts, and "accidentally" catch Hatton on the chin.

Hopefully this is only good news.
One thing though - is M'Baye fighting on the undercard? I can somehow invisiage him doing some dort of Clubber Lang call-out to Hatton after he beats up a stiff.
Hopefully all parties will be above that and cordial/civil etc.

I hope Hatton is working as a commentator for this one - I enjoyed his commentary in the early ITV "comeback" fights.

I don't see the problem with that, Mbaiye would be a better fight than Rabah/Gatti

Wonder if they will share popcorn? I'll have my eyes glued to the screen watching.
Or if Ricky goes for a piss or to the bar, "Want anything Frank?".
"Nice of you to ask Ricky, one of those plastic bottles containing a warm glass of Chardonny would hit the spot son"

Nice to see they made up, wonder if Warren will use his magic charms to get him back.
As far as I know Hatton isn't contracted to any other promoter so who knows we may have a case of Warren Benn reunion...
Second thoughts, Nahhhhhh

Yes, Hatton has a fight by fight deal with FA as I understand it, though that may have changed. That being the case, never say never....

Hatton's friends with Joe though so maybe thats why he accepted because he did say he wanted to be there ringside to cheer him on.
