great fight Calzaghe... not a single round lost??!!! i cant understand why Lacy didn't give up, he wasn't doing anything at ALL!

Probably yes. Hatton, like JC, is for one thing unbeaten in 40 fights. He's also beaten Zoo, the champ at 140. Only lingering doubts are the fact that, arguably, zoo was on the decline/could have lost to any contender at 140. So until Hatton beats the likes of Cotto or PBF, there is still that ? for me. nevertheless, I'll give him 6.

Tarver. Well, he's lost to both RJJ and Johnson. Whilst he'd probably have the beating of them any time in the future, for me RJJ was feeling his age and the effects of fighting Ruiz @ heavy.

Castillo. Sorry, I'm thinking aloud here. I'll just f'ing do it shall I?

Really gets dodgy as I go on. Guys like Morales and Hopkins I could maybe put in 10th, but I doubt they'll go any higher now. Then what to do with guys like Chris John, Bell, Vasquez... I guess they'd start kicking around at the bottom, although arguably havn't fully asserted their place in their own div yet.

JC was fantastic.

He is arguably, Britain's best fighter of the last 10 - 15 years!

I wish he was 7 years younger, because he will never get to prove it now.

I've just watched it again, and I still can't quite believe it. I tipped Joe to win on points, but I wasn't too sure about it. That was a masterful display, absolutely sublime. It might be easy now to say Lacy was hyped, but I think that's harsh, Joe simply didn't give him a chance. Stunning performance.

I thought Joe was just amazing. He has finally silenced the doubters; only a twat would think he's not mustard now. He was fast, accurate and he just beat the crap out of Lacy. Lacy just couldn't keep up with him. Joe's stamina was amazing, he kept up a furious pace and didn't allow the Yank to get into the fight.

James Toney said all UK fighters were protected and that Lacy would destroy Joe. Well, eat your words ya fat bugger!!

It feels great to be British today, in terms of boxing. We have another champ we can now be proud of.

James Toney has a lot in common with Lacy. he lost every round in the Last generation's super middle superfight. Toney can be a prick. at least Calzaghe has the conditioning to Still be at super middle. Toney couldn't even keep 'down' to cruiser
