Worst nickname of all time

While looking through the book "505 Boxing Questions You Friends Can't Answer" I found a question about an old bare-knuckler named Harry Jones.
Get this, his nickname was "The Gay Sailor Boy"!
Of course "gay" meant something else back then, but I don't think that's a nickname we'll ever see again.

In regards to worst nicknames in boxing , I think that
Goofi (Lance Whitaker's nickname) takes the cake.

Lennox 'Lion heart' Lewis. Heart and Lewis shouldnt be in the same sentance, more like Lennox' Arrogant' Lewis which fits his behaviour.

There is a boxer called the 'Suitcase'.
I can't remember his name though...

It's quite funny but rubbish at the same time

I don't remeber a boxer known as The Suitcase although there was a baseball player with that nickname. Personally I think Brian "The Danish Pastry" Nielsen was pretty bad, although accurate.

The Boston Tar Baby is pretty bad, but it was a different society then.

Lennox never fought Bowe and was beaten by shot Holyfield in the rematch. Lewis's 2 greatest wins was past his prime Ruddock and even more past his prime in Tyson. Lewis also ducked John Ruiz although im glad he did duck Johnny because no fan will watch these 2 chumps hug each other to death.

From the judges point of view he won. By in my opinion old Holyfield outworked him and was the more agressive of the two.

Holyfield was more aggressive but I thought Lewis controlled most of the fight and won a comforatble decision. I think that's how most people viewed Lewis-Holy II.

Lewis beat him soundly both times. How can you possibly criticise Lennox "The Lion" Lewis.

He was the most dominant HW in the 90's.

As for Bowe, everyone knows Bowe ducked Lewis, do you not remember Lewis BEATING Bowe, 2 standing 8 counts, in the olympics?

Bit of memory loss their eh buddy?

Lewis became the first reigning lineal heavyweight titlist to relinquish the title since Rocky Marciano in 1956.

Your argument is embarrasing, now move along kid :TU:
