I ask because in Margaritos ppv, during Margaritos fight with Gomez. Gill Glancy was asked, "who in todays boxing does Margarito style compare too?" Glacny said, "I have to go back to the boxer of yesterday and first time I seen Margarito I thought I was seeing Casper Ortiz, Margarito fights just like Casper...."

How good a fighter was Casper and what weight class did he fight at?

Are you sure he didn't say "Gaspar Ortega"??

Gaspar was an aggressive all action fighter.... I think I'm right in saying that the referee Mike Ortega is his son.

Gasper fought his share of great fighters. I hope sometime in the future in a Margarito fight they show clips of Gasper.

Margarito may fight simalar to Casper but he looks like him too. Found this picture - I couldn't find a younger picture of Casper.

Yes, he does have a certain resemblance...that's what drew me to thinking it was Gaspar Ortega.... he was a really tough fighter who always did his 100% best. You knew that after facing him you'd been in a fight!
