ANYONE TAPE CALZAGHES FIGHTS WI SOBOT & GIMENEZ (1998)??

Bizarrely ive had a sudden & strange turn about with ole JC 'Manos De Glass' and i wanna see more of his fights.
Ive never seen his first 2 defences on anyones lists despite watching em myself live at the time.
Any of you Fokkers tape these fights or point me in the right direction so that i can check them out again?

Must admit that those two 'classics' have somehow eluded me... maybe fell down the gap on the shelves between Hagler Vs Hearns and Leonard Vs Duran

He's openly jumping on the bandwagon. "Sudden and strange turn" = "I never cared about Joe until he beat Lacy. I figured why not jump aboard while the going is good."

I remember thinking the Sobot win was pretty good at the time - a left uppercut flattens him I think. More entertaining than the Giminez one that's for sure.
I still have it on tape last time I looked. Could trade you a DVD I guess - got any Jeff Merritt? I know you're a heavyweight specialist....

I've got them both. But they are in NTSC format.

1. To clarify, the fights im talking about are KO3 Branko Sabot & KO9 Juan Carlos Gimenez, or as boxrec have handily renamed him, "Ferreya" (thanks guys)
2. no i am not mentally ill, just disturbed
3. yes i am unashamedly jumping on the bandwagon whats your beef?
4. no way in hell wouldi want an NTSC version as it was broadcast on Sky in the UK & dont want a depleted copy thats done several rounds over the world.

For the record I have a once copied version. Me converting it to NTSC. Hasn't been around the world except to be shipped to my house.

Red dragon doesnt have original gen copies dating back to 1998 mate.
2003 maybe, not 98.
To NTSC guy, whats the quality like? how good could ya get it on a 2 hr DVD..? or were you just mentioning it to tease & harrass me?

I wouldn't tease a fellow Calzaghe fan now.
The quality of the fights are the same as if you taped them off the TV yourself.

i've had sky tv from june of 1997 onwards starting with steve collins v craig cummings overhand_right so don't come on this site and say i don't have original copies of fights before 1998, and my fights are better picture quality than the fights you sent
me on that 5 hour tape,i'm still waiting for the rest of the fights 5 months later

I forgot about the stuff still owing i'll obviously hook you up but it sounds like u didnt like the tape i sent you...?
PS did you tape Calzaghe v Eubank/Sabot/Gimenez etc....?
