What happened here? Great win for Pryce. This fight was more of an afterthought as Pryce came in at a late stage. Convincing? Problems with Duran? Will Pryce be staying at light middle?

Pryce got cut in the middle rounds I think, but was convincing enough to overcome Duran.

ITV only showed highlights of the fight , and that's despite the Lockett V Eastman fight ending in one round .
I can't believe the WBU title is being put above the Commonwealth(and I assume British too) title again .

It was a good scrap the Duran fight. Bradley stuck to his boxing for a change, and didn't get drawn in to a war. He won it by a mile. He looked very good Bradley, and I was really happy for him when they awarded him the decision. He's has a hard hard career, and it's about time he recieved a title.

It was great for Bradley to win a real title, and against such a dangerous opponent..excellent result.
What is Bradleys real fighting weight though?..he seems to be able to fight anything between 10-11stone.
But how does the ref let him and quite alot of boxers wear their shorts up so high, last night Bradley had them just under his armpits

I noticed that as well. Thought he may have been trying to cover up the fact he wasn't looking in great shape - there's no way he's a natural light-middle, but it makes the result all the more impressive. Just makes me wonder what a well-conditioned, confident Pryce could achieve at Welter...

I noticed in the JC VS JL fight that the ref seemed to just make sure that their shorts were at roughly an equal height, not necessarily caring how high they were, just that both boxers were equal.

I recently saw an American ref indicate to a boxer that he would accept punches from half way down his shorts...the guys shorts were also the pollar neck type.
Isn`t the punch deemed low if its below the belly button?

No, a line across the top of the hips, so slightly lower than the belly button.

Fully agree.
He's had a hard career; much harder than many of the other Welsh boys.
Really glad he has finally got a major title. I'd prefer to see him go down from light-middle though and stick to his boxing a bit more - as he did against Duran.
Nice one Brad!!
