I've seen the highlights of Tony Tubbs-James Thunder fight in 1994 and Thunder won by a majority decision, but Tubbs' mother complaining that he son won the fight, because Tubbs lands a lot of good shots against Thunder. Have any idea why it happened?

Thunder came into the dressing room after the fight almost embarrased that he was named the winner. He told Tony that Tony won that fight and that he was sorry the judges called it like they did. James was a classy guy and he knew he lost that fight, but what can you do.
