Apparently, Danny Williams was going to save the day by stepping in for the injured Scott Harrison and headlining the show in Glasgow, thus meaning the whole event would not have to be cancelled. But, Sports Network later reported that Williams got an injury in training and therefor could not fight in Glasgow, therefor the show did have to be cancelled after all.

Why did Sports Network have to fcuk around this way?
Also, whats the point of Williams and Skelton having meaningless tune-ups (especially so soon after there big fight). Why not just get a proper rest and go straight at it agin in June? I dont believe this April the first show will do much in the way of adding any hype to there rematch. It seems like a pointless waste of time to me.

I thought the winner of Williams vs Skelton 1 was guareenteed a world title fight..... I really did believe the ITV hype, honest.

Valuev looks to be opponent less now (Beck's name is now off the bill) - so come on.

Skelton vs Williams was okay, but it was hardly Frazier vs Ali was it.

oh no,this is a warron-wonderland-fairy tail. nobody over here gives a fock on a Wiliams-Burger-King-apearance. the guys over here laugh their ass off after the Sam-fight. no way. maybe against Egon Roth or Cagaev for a feed-up. Danny Williams is no serious opponent, seriously.

"Sauerland Event have signed a multifight deal with EBU heavy champ Paolo Vidoz. Mandatory challenger for Vidoz is Sinan Samil Sam, who´s back with Universum, after a spell with Sauerland."


"Turkish heavy Sinan Samil Sam have, as previously his Universum colleague Luan Krasniqi, relinquished his position as official challanger for the EBU heavyweight title held by Italian Paolo Vidoz. It could be Danny Williams that replace Sam. There was to have been purse offers today (March 21) for Vidoz vs Sam."

I actually don't mind Danny fighting Vidoz more than fighting Skelton.

He could win the EBU then rematch with Skelton.

Come on Bubi, Williams is no great shakes but Egon Roth is terrible!! I never seen that guy throw more than 10 punches a round
