Right, imagine a prime Eubank trains his head off for 12 weeks solid and then faces a modern day Roy Jones whilst playing Pinguin Slaan.

Who wins?

I can't even remember the names of half the turkeys Eubank had desparate struggles with ( Ray Close, Dan Sherry, the Brazilian Amaral) and presumably he trained hard for those fights.

His heart and bravery might let him last the course but this is too easy for Jones.

Toward the end of the first round, Eubank goes into one of his posing routines and as he does...boom...down goes Eubank, but the bell saves him. Jones finishes him in the second!

Jones would've won a ud in a snoozer. I think they'd both start off wanting the other to come to them and end up looking at each other for 12 rounds like in Jones-Hopkins.

I was so bored i clicked on page 50 of boxers of the past and found all these dusty old threads. Thought i might as well resurrect some of Mr Blowes best work.

Its quite interesting seeing what everyone used to write in 2002, in an extremely boring & sad way. But hey, at least i'm avoiding doing any actual work.

I'm sitting in leeds uni library, thinking about working on my mike tyson project (yes, really). Its for a sociology module, and I figured the easiest project to do on 'Men and masculinities' is Mike, huge amounts of sources there, easy marks, lots of online tysonites to use as reference. however easy this is though, I've still not started today...

Bloody finals, I really should be working my arse off but I can't be arsed.

being stuck in a call centre would nevertheless allow me to say i'm in a 'work environment' thus getting some sort of satisfaction that i'm doing something worthwhile. Internet poker, overhand, if you want procrastination from work, get into internet poker, it really is the bizz.

The words 'satisfaction' and 'worthwhile' are definitely not words i would use when describing my job. As for money the tax man & rent takes all of it.

Incidentally, the mini golf one is highly addictive. Perfect distraction from more important things!

The key to the 'bomb pool' game is to not load up with power shots. If you do low-power shots you can pretty much line up the balls where you want them.

Another game worth playing on that list is Toss The Penguin. Very addictive.

ok, just played 'toss the penguin', aka 'Pinguin slaan' and it is tremendous! My current record is 189, after all of 5 goes

WOw! 316.5 That penguin went flyin' The main problem I see is when the penguin goes off at a higher trajectory, he tends to end up plopping in the snow rather than scooting an extra few, err, metres

For anyone else who feels penguin tossing shouldn't be restricted to just Riddick & me..

The thread title should've remained as Eubank/Jones. That way anyone who stumbles upon it looking to discuss this concept will actually be thrilled at the hidden content of pure unadulterated non-business (or boxing) related 'gaming' joy. Either that or disappointed by the flase advertising on the thread title.

I wonder how many other relic threads will be resurrected & perverted into completely unrelated topics?
