The movie DIGGSTOWN?

For those who never seen it, it was about an old Heavyweight boxer, who fought 10 men in a single night. 10 fights, 5 rounds each, over 50 rounds of boxing.

The ONLY men that I know of who came close to this feat in real life were the following:

Bob Fitzsimmons, fought 7 men in a night (fought one man twice).
George Foreman, the Toronto Five exhibition (5 men, 5 KO's)
Lamar Clark, fought 5 men and won all 5 by KO, 4 in the 1st.

Who do you think could face and defeat 10 men CONVINCINGLY, no Decision wins or anything, just KO's. And it has to be someone active today.

well i recentley read a gene tunney article from 1952 and he states jack dempsey would have knocked rocky marciano, jersey joe walcott, ezzard charles, archie moore all out in one night and would do it in less than 12 rounds total.

Yea but Tunney beat Dempsey twice, so that just goes to show you Tunney prolly never thought anybody was better than himself at Heavyweight.

I read an article Tunney did where he said that Dempsey would have beaten Joe Louis by KO in not even three rounds, think it was in RING magazine and was called "RING BATTLE".

But of course I wrote down "what Heavyweight from today" could do this?

it depends who they were fighting. If it were journeymen n club fighters or youngsters etc i would say pretty much any champion. If it was worthwhile contenders and top prospects id say nobody. If you knock out 10 opponents in a night without going the five round distance, you do earn alot of respect, but i think it really says something about the caliber of opponent you are facing.

Funny how many years ago when the Guiness used to flow, I sure used to think I could beat ten guys in one night. All at once even. Funny how the only prize I recieved was a lumpy skull and a ride in the back of a squad car.
