ROBINSON VS PATTERSON

there were rumours that sugar ray would move to heavyweight to fight floyd patterson, if this fight would happen who do you think would of one?
Dont forget that at lightheavyweight robinson would of beat maxim if it wasnt for the overheated arena!!!

Patterson would have been too young and fast for Ray at that point, remember what Patterson did to Archie Moore.... the fight that really intrigues me and which nearly happened is Robinson vs Moore... the truth is really that Ray was just never big enougth for 175... right to the end of his career he was a true 160er... against Maxim the heat was the same for Joey as it was for Ray but Joey was the stronger man and outlasted Ray....

Robinson would not have faired well against Charles, Moore or Johnson...just too good of a LH crew at that time.
