"improved" my guess: Lewis vs Rahman 2 & Eastman vs Joppy but if that one doesnt qualify (WBA regular) then Lewis vs Grant & Ingle vs Jones

When is the last time we had world title fights involving 4 brits fighting abroad on the same night.

As for the fight itself, fair play to Fight Academy for getting Pickering the shot, because he doesn't really deserve it. And, whilst I'll be cheering my arse off for him, I really don't think he'll win.

Fight Academy seem to be real chummy with the IBF dont they, Clinton gets 4 shots at their belt & Pickering gets a title shot from out of nothing

The Jason Papillon win got him a shot. Papillon was ranked very high with the IBF at the time.
Clarke was a fighter FAR better than his record. I think had he had the breaks (alongside the desire and financial support) he would have at least won the British title.
