Does Judah stand ANY chance with Floyd?

Judah is so damned unpopular that people are making this sound like a complete mismatch.

Only as good as your last fight has never been truer.

Now this could turn into a real one sided blast out if Zab can't get near PBF early, but with the speed Judah has, and one punch KO power at 147, I reckon there's a chance he might catch a overconfident Mayweather early. It's the last chance saloon for him, so you'd reckon he'll be up for this like no other.

If he lands some good shots, it'll be the hardest Floyd has ever been hit, and could get interesting.

I'll probably look like an idiot on Sunday morning but I sense this will be a lot closer than many people think. Judah has speed, and he can hit.... if he's up for the fight, which he should be, then he's in with a chance.

I don't feel confident enough to have a large bet at 4-1, but those odds are too long for this match in my view. Might have a small wager...and you can all laugh at me come Sunday!

Judah has a punchers chance, that's all. I can see Floyd completely humiliating him, but I hope I'm wrong. I think Judah is a terrible waste of talent. Maybe he will have something to offer though. He has locked himself away and has not been involved in any of the promotions. If he is taking it seriously like he did the second Spinks fight, then it could be (a little bit) more competitive.

None, zip, nadda.

Pineda, Weiss, Tsyzu and Baldomir have all shown us the 'true' Zab and he doesn't stack up against PBF.

All the bling, wu-tang clan and Tyson connections in the world wont make up for his lack of fundamentals.

His speed and natural one shot power will be neutralised by Mayweather and then where does he go?

I see a one sided beat down, but I sure as hell hope I get to see it via Sky Sports (chance would be a fine thing...)

Saw a Mayweather interview, his moto seems to be don't make mistakes and make the opponent miss for theres. So hes not underestimating Judah.

Judah needs to pressure, keep his workrate up and he can hold his own. If a Judah haymaker lands it could be over too. Judahs had a very good career and has a chance against anyone on his day but hes inconsistant. Expect the best Judah we've ever seen against PBF. I've always felt he had a chance of the upset.

I expect mayweather to win but I'm finding the odds of 4/1 on Judah a bit too tempting and will probs have a bet on him.

As metioned I feel Judah is the desurving underdog, but I don't it's feel as much as the the bookies have it by, Blodamir may have been an off night.

You can also get 7/1 on Judah by OK or 9/1 on Judah by points

These guys have sparred tons of rounds together. They know each other inside out, so it then comes down to who's better at what they do.

I can see Judah landing about three shouts a round on Mayweather.

the rumours are that Floyd humiliated him in the gym plenty of times. of course sparring isn't the same as fighting, but against a guy as temperamental as Judah, you can't help but think Mayweather has a huge mental edge, to go with his superior skills and focus.

I picked Mayweather before Judah was upset - I still think the same now.

Mayweather is faster than Judah, and that's the key.

I've taken the 7/1 on the Judah by KO.

What can I say, fair play to Floyd taking this fight. It's a very difficult fight due to Judah's style. I think Judah will catch Floyd at some point with a straight left and unfortunately I don't think Floyd can recover.

Judah's got a chance. Throughout his career he's had bad performances then bounced back and looked a world beater in the next. Judah's been fighting at the higher weight for longer. Mayweather's never had to take a punch from a hitter above lightweight. Judah defenately has the speed to land. I think he's just about as fast as Mayweather.

I think Judah should concentrate and try to nail Floyd often to the body with his straight left, then come upstairs later when Floyds hands drop.

I think we will see the defensive version of Mayweather this time up. I think the Victoriano Sosa fight was the last time he fought safe.

Look at who he's fought coming back after a loss. No one near as good as Floyd is.

Of course he has a chance, everyone has a chance albeit a very small one for Judah.

He's going to have to be determined as hell and in the shape of his life.

The only way I can see Judah winning this is if he jumps on PBF early and gives everything he has in the first 3 rounds. All or nothing.

Of course we know that's not gonna happen.

PBF KO 9 :TU:

Exactly who has he KO'd with one punch. His power is vastly overrated IMO.

Yes. Judah in top-form is one of the most gifted boxers pfp, and every man is vulnerabe.

Despite it not really being for the title (forget the crap that it is).... Its still probably Floyd's hardest fight of his career. Judah is speedy and has power, its either Castillo or Judah who is Floyd's best performance.

Also, nobody has really mentioned the Mitchell fight alot - I wasn't as impressed as I have been with Floyd that night. He took more punches in that fight than in the Gatti and Corley combined (although Corley's had more of an effect). Did he take Mitchell lightly? Did he treat him with contempt that a former two time world champion didn't deserve? Or is he just starting to slow up with weight and maybe even age - Naz was 27 when his reflexes started to botray him.

Floyd fight like that vs Judah, then Floyd can be in trouble - but I think Floyd will be too quick and significantly, hurt Judah....

Its still a fascinating fight, and for me the Baldomir fight hasn't really altered my view on the fight.... Always thought Floyd is that little better at everything, but Judah has the power and speed to catch and hurt Floyd.

You have to applaud Floyd for taking on Judah though. He's looking for the challenges and taking them and I commend that bigtime. He probably only has 3 years or less left at the level he is at now and he is taking advantage of that.

Speed=power and I think it's safe to say Judah hits very hard. He hurt and almost took Tszyu's head off with a left hand, and I've never seen anyone else shake up KZ with one shot like that.

Notice what happened after KZ took it and kept coming....Tszyu never threw a meaningful punch for the rest of the fight, and came out in the second extremely hesistant. I don't think he knew how to beat Tszyu after he landed that punch and he didn't go down.

Yeah Mayweather has to be commended for fighting a guy coming off a loss. :-?

Even Roy Jones didn't do that when he was on the HBO dollar!

Well, to Floyd's defense, before Jan 7th, people had been crying for this fight. Now, to blame him for going through with it eventhough Zab lost, and ragging on him for taking a fighter off a loss, even though he had no effect in that outcome, is very unfair.

Before Jan 7th, everyone wanted it. After, people are faulting Floyd for taking it. Either way it was a no win situation for him.

Oh come on, theres every reason to rag him for it. Before January Judah was the undisputed champion and the man at 147, he has since lost to a glorified journeyman. Of course everyone wanted to see Floyd against the top man at the weight who wouldn't? But Judah losing should have put paid to this fight. I don't see how Mayweather can get any praise for this fight. Everyone wanted to see Brewster against one of the other champions - is that still as big a fight now he's been beaten? No and its ridiculous to suggest so.

I like Mayweather by the way I just think he sets himself up for the snipers with the guys he has been fighting. After this fight lets see a marked stepup and fights with the best please.

Yes, Judah has a chance, he is quick and powerful.

Judah obviously underestimated Baldomir, hence his performance. I expect the best of Judah this weekend.
